Accident Alert
During inclement weather or other emergencies, the Colorado State Patrol (unincorporated areas) and/or sheriff's office (contract cities) may place the county on accident alert. 媒体 outlets will be notified when we go on accident alert, and the status change will be posted on 推特. During an accident alert, CSP troopers and/or ACSO deputies will only respond to serious accidents involving injuries, hit and run, 酒后驾车/ DUID, or when damage is so severe that the vehicles cannot safely be moved off of the roadway and out of traffic. In all other cases, people who get in an accident should exchange information with the other driver(s) and submit a counter-report of the accident online.
